Idan Sassoni DJ

A celebration that sounds and feels like your people. Expect a personalized blend of Israeli favorites, Jewish celebration music, and American dance-floor hits, adapted to the ages, tastes, and energy of your guests.

Before the event, we plan directly in English or Hebrew: music preferences, must-play and do-not-play songs, entrances, the Hora and other special dances, speeches, and the event timeline. During the event, I adjust the music to the crowd and coordinate key moments with your venue or planner.

Production is matched to the agreed package and venue: professional sound, wireless microphones, smart lighting and truss, and projector, screen, or video playback where requested. Setup and breakdown are included in the event packages.

Essential Celebration packages include up to 5 hours of DJ service; Signature Wedding packages include up to 6 hours with ceremony, cocktail-hour, and reception audio. Equipment rental and live-band audio production can also be arranged. Send your event date or preferred month, event type, venue or city, and estimated guest count through GigSalad for a tailored quote.

I’m Idan Sassoni, an Israeli DJ and audio engineer based in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and part of the local Jewish and Israeli community. I bring 20 years of experience in entertainment in Israel and the United States, including sound and production for events and musical performances.

My focus is bringing people together through music: Israeli favorites, Jewish traditions, and American dance-floor hits chosen around your guests. I work with couples, families, synagogues, and community organizers on weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, holiday celebrations, birthdays, and private events.

You plan directly with me in English or Hebrew. Together we shape the must-play songs, do-not-play list, entrances, special dances, and event flow. My audio-engineering background helps keep speeches clear and the music balanced, while sound, lighting, microphones, and video options can be coordinated as part of your event package.

I serve Bucks County, Philadelphia, and South Jersey. Equipment rental and live-band audio production are also available.

Sound, lighting, microphones, and video are planned around the venue, guest count, event schedule, and selected package. Available production options include professional speakers and subwoofer, wireless microphones, smart lighting, truss, projector and screen, and video playback. Live-band audio production can include front-of-house mixing, monitors, microphones, and soundcheck.

Please share whether the event is indoors or outdoors, the areas requiring audio, venue access and load-in arrangements, available electrical power, and any sound-level or lighting restrictions. For speeches or presentations, let me know how many microphones and which microphone types are needed. Video files and presentation requirements should be coordinated before the event. Final equipment, setup arrangements, and operating times are confirmed in the event proposal.
