Hyunjin Wang

Hyunjin Wang, a South Korean pianist, earned her undergraduate degree at Hanyang University in Korea and her Master of Music and Certificate of Performance from Texas State University. Since 2021, she has been pursuing a Doctoral degree at the University of North Texas under Dr. Pamela Paul, where she serves as a Teaching Fellow, offering group and private piano lessons to music majors and non-majors.

Hyunjin has won the Texas State Concerto Competition twice, first place in the Tuesday Musical Club Young Artists Piano Competition, and first place in the Great Composers International Competition (Best Liszt Performance). She was also a finalist in the Patrick W. Price Competition and earned second place in the Rose Petroff Foundation of Texas competition.

Beyond teaching and competitions, Hyunjin frequently performs for various events, including Christmas parties and weddings, providing elegant background music for diverse occasions.
