Huffman Acoustic is the husband-and-wife duo of Joel and Kayla Huffman, blending modern country, classic country, rock, pop, and original music into a live show built around strong vocals, acoustic musicianship, and genuine connection with the audience.
Originally from Central Alabama and now based in Northeast Ohio, Joel and Kayla bring their Southern roots and years of performing together into every show. What began as an acoustic project in 2023 quickly grew into a busy professional act, now performing more than 175 shows each year throughout Ohio and beyond.
Huffman Acoustic has performed at weddings, corporate events, festivals, wineries, restaurants, private parties, and entertainment venues, with appearances including House of Blues Cleveland, FOX 8 Cleveland, and performances in Nashville. In 2025, they were named Best Gospel Artist at the 2025 Cleveland Music Awards.
One of the duo's biggest strengths is versatility. A Huffman Acoustic show can be relaxed background music for a cocktail hour or winery, an intimate performance for a wedding ceremony, leading Christian worship or an energetic country show that has an entire room singing along. Joel and Kayla take pride in reading the room and adjusting the music and energy to fit the people in front of them.
Their repertoire spans decades and includes artists such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Zach Bryan, Matchbox Twenty, Kings of Leon, and many more, along with their own original music.
For weddings and private events, Huffman Acoustic can also work with clients to create a more customized experience, including ceremony music, cocktail hours, first dances, special requests, announcements, and other memorable moments.
