I’m Howard Gripp, a Christian Rock artist whose sound blends the heartfelt style of Phil Wickham with the energy of Skillet (but not too hard). My performances are flexible and tailored to meet the venue’s needs. I can deliver:

I’m professional, easy to work with, and capable of handling smaller venues with my own sound equipment. For larger venues, I simply require a house PA and lighting if needed.

Howard Gripp is a Wisconsin-based artist who has transitioned from a rock 'n' roll background to fully embrace the Christian Contemporary/Rock genre. Known for delivering strong, inspirational messages, Howard's music is designed to touch souls and reassure listeners that they are not alone. Though new to the Christian music scene, Howard brings years of musical experience and a fresh perspective to his work. His listeners have praised his songs for their emotional depth, with comments such as, "My eyes and heart were misty," "Very powerful! Your songs could save lives!" and "When I Pray has touched my life."

Howard's musical journey began at the age of six when he started playing the drums. He continued to pursue music throughout his school years, forming the band "Flight" at 16 and performing in bars by the same age. This marked the start of his musical career, which included playing in rock bands and recording a CD titled 'Stinger' with a Los Angeles record company. However, a transformative experience with Jesus inspired Howard to turn away from secular music and embrace a more meaningful path in the Christian Contemporary/Rock genre.

Recording in Nashville with renowned producers, Howard has completed his debut EP, Rescued Redeemed Forgiven, fully released in 2024. Featuring six powerful tracks, the EP addresses real-life challenges and encourages listeners to find strength and resilience through faith. Alongside the EP, Howard released an official music video for the song Hello It's Me, which powerfully captures the heartfelt message of returning to faith and trusting in God’s grace.

In his emerging career, Howard Gripp has already achieved notable recognition. He finished in the Top 10 for three consecutive quarters in the World Songwriting Awards contest, earning 8th place with Stories in the Bible, and 3rd place with both He Rescued Me and Father Help Me. Additionally, he placed in the Top 5 of the You God's Music competition. Howard's official music video for Hello It's Me has also been nominated for Christian Music Video of the Year in multiple Christian music award programs, further solidifying his growing presence in the industry. With a dedication to creating music that deeply resonates with listeners, Howard Gripp is poised to make a significant and lasting impact in the world of Christian music.

If the venue is smaller—such as a coffee shop, small outdoor event, or small church—I can provide all the necessary sound equipment (excluding lighting). I use a Bose L1-16 tower PA system with a Bose mixing board, along with everything I need to perform solo in an intimate setting.

For larger venues, I would require a house PA system and lighting (if needed). My setup is compact and efficient, requiring only a standard 110v outlet, making it easy to accommodate almost any session.
