Talented singer songwriter for decades!

This young man has always been a leader…forming bands, writing music & lyrics, performing in different states and locally. Very versatile. Picks up covers easily and can play multiple instruments.

Also very kind and humble.

About

Hot Box Weather is the emo/pop rock/post hardcore project of singer/songwriter Pat Mays. It started in the Bay Area in 2007. Mays had been playing with other projects previous, and with an overflow of song ideas that didn’t fit decided to start a solo project. After gaining more experience touring and playing with his projects “Worthwhile,” and “Second to Last” Mays moved to LA to pursue an education in songwriting and music business. After a few years he decided to move back home to Northern California to continue songwriting. With a variety of influences such as Jimmy Eat World, The 1975, Bon Iver, D’Angelo, Anderson Paak, and so many more; Pat Mays hopes to bring diversity to the emo genre and let his passion shine through.
