Hello, my name is Hope Arthur and I am a pianist/accordion player living in Chicago. I can cover a wide variety of music styles: Classical, Ragtime, Early American Jazz, Parisian, Tango, Klezmer, Pop, Contemporary etc. I also speak German and specialize in German folk music. I would be thrilled to come play your Oktoberfest party!
I would be happy to work with you on a custom event!

July 29, 2026Hope did a great job providing background music for our Italian Club annual picnic. She handled several special requests with no issue. We have received lots of compliments and plan to have her back in the future.

October 1, 2023Hope Arthur is a star! Her musical talents are truly a gift. Her attention to details did not go unnoticed. She played traditional polka for our school’s Oktoberfest celebration and made the evening one to never forget. I would hire Hope again in a heart beat and hope to see her and her band, the Dirndolls, play live. Book her for your next party and you and your guests will relish in the happiness of Hope’s polka.
