January 3, 2020We were so thrilled to have booked for a private luau themed birthday party! Honey arranged for a mix of styles and varieties of polynesian/ hula/ island dance and was able to coordinate performance, greet our guests, costume and prop changes, e.t.c. she provided her own music and gave detailed, specific advice to help with our theme and expectations. Communication was easy and the experience was top- notch. We would be thrilled to hire again for future events. Wonderful sense of coaching/ mentoring as well since she brought a former student as an accompanying performer. Honey has been performing, competing, and teaching for over 20 years! She began her dance training as a Polynesian dancer, which culminated in her participation in the biggest Hula competition in the world, The Merrie Monarch Festival in Hilo, Hawai'i.
Her love affair with Burlesque & Cabaret began in 2012 when she joined the longest running Neo Burlesque troupe in Texas, The Lollie Bombs. She quickly became an in demand dancer, and joined several troupes in Dallas including; The Viva Dallas Burlesque Showgirls, Sirens of the Underground, and Show Pony Revue.
She is currently a member of The Bad Girls Club, a Dallas charity group composed of Burlesque performers who donate their time & resources to help organizations and people in need within the Dallas community.
She is the founder & host of Arte a Go-Go, a monthly sketch group in Deep Ellum that features an array of circus artists, burlesque performers, and models.
She lives to perform and dedicates every waking moment of her life to the art form.
