To ensure the highest quality experience, my setups are designed to be efficient, adaptable, and professional. I provide all primary audio and performance equipment, but a few site-specific requirements help ensure a smooth installation and performance.
Power & Space Requirements
• Power: A minimum of one dedicated 15-amp or 20-amp circuit (Standard 120V outlet) within 25 feet of the performance area. For larger setups involving lighting and multiple powered speakers, two separate circuits are preferred to ensure stability.
• Performance Area: A minimum footprint of 8' x 6' for a standard DJ/Karaoke setup. For events requiring additional staging or multiple screens, additional space may be necessary.
Audio & Sound
• Turnkey Sound System: I provide a professional-grade PA system, including high-fidelity powered speakers and subwoofers tailored to the room size and guest count.
• Microphones: I supply high-quality wireless handheld microphones for singers and emcee duties, along with backup wired options.
• Monitors: A dedicated stage monitor can be provided for karaoke performers to ensure they can hear themselves clearly.
Visuals & Karaoke Setup
• Display: I provide a dedicated lyric monitor for the performer. For the audience, I can interface with existing in-house TV/projector systems via HDMI or provide a portable high-definition screen/projector setup upon request.
• Connectivity: All playback is digital and high-resolution. I do not require on-site Wi-Fi for performance, as my library and software are fully localized for offline reliability.
Lighting & Ambience
• Basic Lighting: Standard setups include subtle LED wash lighting for the performance area.
• Enhanced Lighting: Dynamic, beat-synced dance floor lighting and specialized effects are available for larger celebrations.
• Outdoor Events: For outdoor performances, the setup area must be fully covered (tent or permanent structure) and on a flat, dry surface to protect the electronic equipment from debris and weather.
Load-In & Logistics
• Access: Easy access to the setup area (ramps or elevators for non-ground floor locations) is required.
• Setup Time: I typically require 60 to 90 minutes for load-in and sound check, depending on the complexity of the package.
• Striking: Equipment removal usually takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes following the conclusion of the event.
