Hollenbeck Protective Services was founded in 2016 by President & CEO Dustin Hollenbeck with a clear mission: to provide affordable, professional private investigation services to individuals and organizations in need. What began as a focused investigative operation quickly revealed a larger gap in the market—access to reliable, high-quality security services that were financially attainable for more than just large corporations and high-net-worth clients.

In 2019, recognizing the growing demand for professional security solutions and the rising costs that often placed these services out of reach, Mr. Hollenbeck expanded the company’s operations to include uniformed security services. This strategic expansion led to the official creation of Hollenbeck Protective Services as a full-service security and investigations firm. Since then, the company has continued to grow, driven by a commitment to professionalism, reliability, and affordability. Today, Hollenbeck Protective Services is determined to become one of Florida’s most trusted and respected security and investigative service providers.

Mr. Hollenbeck began his career working as a security officer while attending the police academy, gaining early hands-on experience in public safety and operational security. After several years working for law enforcement agencies, he transitioned into the private sector, where he conducted corporate investigations for a large organization. His investigative experience includes handling complex cases involving credit card fraud, identity theft, internal theft, workplace violence, sex crimes, and burglaries.

In addition to investigative casework, Mr. Hollenbeck has extensive experience in plain-clothed surveillance operations, electronic surveillance installation, and GPS tracking system deployment. He has also provided VIP protection and escort services for celebrities and select government officials, further strengthening his background in executive protection and high-risk security operations.

With more than 25 years of experience as a licensed security officer, Mr. Hollenbeck has continually invested in professional development and advanced training. He holds certifications through FEMA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and has completed advanced interview and interrogation training through Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates. He also maintains specialized law enforcement mountain bike certification through LEBA, enhancing mobility-based patrol and event security capabilities.
