Fantastic duo!

Went to my local brewery expecting a good beer, and was delightfully surprised by this great duo! The songs varied genres and were all very well performed. We really enjoyed listening to these two, and getting to meet them after. Can’t wait to catch them again!

About

Holiday & Vine offer 2 packages guaranteed to deliver classic, recognizable songs that create just the right vibe. Their perfectly executed arrangements feel natural and effortless in atmospheres from dark speakeasies to honky tonks to upscale brunches to the cozy bar on the corner. Between the two, they have played storied houses including the famed Ready Room, Cezanne, Don't Tell Mama Cabaret in NYC, The Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, and the vaunted Carnegie Hall.

Renee is an award-winning vocalist with professional stage credits and, bizarrely - or not so bizarrely, she sang before she even spoke. Her 4 octave vocal range allows her the freedom to tackle songs not frequently performed by others. This once in a life-time range and power has taken her all over the world - including New York, London, New Orleans, LA and Orlando - but has always brought her back home to Houston. Her clean vocals capture the powerful and complex rock of Pat Benatar and Steve Perry to country greats like Martina McBride, through to new icons like Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga. She also commands a variety of standards and has over 30 years of experience in musical theater, including Houston's TUTS. For 20 years, she has fronted the 80s tribute band the Lost Boys - where Nathan plays Bass!

Weird and real reviews of Renee's vocals:

"Wig! I thought my hair was going to fly off my head..." "Your voice is SICK."
"How does that come out of such a tiny body?"
"Are you for real?"
"I've never heard anyone sing better in Houston."

She attended the High School For Performing Arts, New York University, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, has had hits on Canadian Top 40, off-Broadway and Regional Credits.

Meanwhile, Nathan is a multi-instrumentalist who began touring professionally out of high school. The lifelong musician and skilled guitar technician began performing in church at age 3. He's played in dozens of groups over the years, developing his versatility by covering musical styles from Baroque to Bang Your Head. He also plays bass in the award-winning classic country act Thunderboltz!

You might see him playing bass, but you also may see him on guitar, saxophone, flute, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, or just singing his butt off. Yes, you've seen him before. Maybe at the rodeo, maybe playing with one of your favorite local Houston bands or solo artists. Yes, you have seen him rockin' 80's tunes with the Lost Boys with Renee - entertaining Houston since 2005.

Their love of music is rivaled only by their consummate professionalism and dedication to putting their clients first. Renee and Nathan elevate any venue, whether enhancing the dining experience, the background to an upscale brunch or rocking out front and center in any venue in town.
