Hilary Ladd is a dynamic musician, actor, writer, and educator with over 15 years of stage experience. Known for her powerful vocals and unflinching storytelling, she draws audiences into deeply human experiences through music and performance.
As a singer-songwriter, Ladd transforms raw personal stories into resonant, uplifting songs. Her ongoing project Breastmilk + Tears, supported by ArtsNB, Music New Brunswick, and the Canada Council, blends pop energy with intimate narrative. Part 1 was released in 2022, with Part 2 slated for 2025.
In 2025 alone, Ladd has performed more than 40 times across New Brunswick, appearing at festivals including Paddlefest, Harvest, Pride, Moonlight Bazaar, and the Sussex Balloon Festival, as well as regularly performing at O’Leary’s, Kennedy House, Fusion East, and the Foghorn.
In addition to her solo work, Ladd co-founded The Upsy Daisies with performer Kristen Anderson. This children’s music duo creates interactive, joyful experiences that celebrate confidence, individuality, and inclusion. Their debut EP, releasing in October 2025, reflects both their artistry and their lives as devoted moms of two.

I can adapt to a variety of performance settings:
Self-sufficient option: I can bring my own battery-powered tower PA system, perfect for smaller venues, outdoor spaces, or locations without existing sound equipment.
Standard setup: I require:

Additional notes:
- I am flexible with stage size and setup and can perform in intimate spaces or larger rooms.
- Minimal lighting is sufficient, though stage or ambient lighting enhances the performance experience.
- Setup typically takes 15–20 minutes.
- I provide all necessary cables and accessories for my own PA setup.
