Nothing about the night feels like it's running off a script; it feels built specifically for the people in that room.

A client gets more than a DJ who shows up on the day. Before the event, we've had a real conversation about your timeline, your must-plays, your do-not-plays, and how the room should feel at each stage of the night. On the day itself, we coordinate directly with your other vendors and your venue's schedule — announcements land on cue, transitions between dinner, toasts, and dancing are handled without anyone needing to manage it. Professional sound equipment is built to perform at any scale, and a backup plan is always in place, so your event never rests on a single point of failure.

For an event planner specifically: what you're getting is a vendor who makes your job easier on the day, not one more thing to coordinate around.

I've been behind the booth for a decade. Reading rooms, adjusting on the fly, and learning what actually makes a dance floor come alive versus what just fills time. Most of that decade was spent building experience the hard way: DJing and MCing hundreds of weddings, corporate events, proms, and private parties, one event at a time, long before HighBred Entertainment existed as its own name.

In 2023, that experience became HighBred Entertainment; a way to bring the same instinct and care to every event under my own name, based in the Hudson Valley and serving into NYC.

What hasn't changed is the approach: I don't work off a script. Every event starts with a real conversation about the people in the room, the music that matters to them, and the moments they actually want remembered!

Sound and DJ setup: professional digital DJ controller/mixer system (Serato-based) with wireless handheld microphones for MC use. Equipment is built to support events up to 250 guests; for larger guest counts, please inquire in advance.

Power: minimum of 4 dedicated outlets required at the DJ/performance area.

Space: approximately 25 sq ft of dedicated setup space.

Load-in: 1 to 2 hours prior to guest arrival, depending on package selected.

Setup and breakdown: included in the above load-in window; typically 1 to 1.5 hours total.

Travel: events beyond 50 miles of our Hudson Valley base (Newburgh, NY) may include a travel fee.
