Affable, polished, clean-cut performers, who truly ARE able to sing and ring chords. A few jokes to keep things light, perhaps a demonstration of how our craft works. This is NOT your grandfathers' Barbershop. We won't arrive in striped jackets and straw hats and sing Down By the Old Mill Stream. Our choice of music is intended to offer both high-energy and beautiful harmony captured in recognizable songs for young and old alike.
Formed in April of 2014, and with only four rehearsals under their belts, High Priority won the AZ SENIORS QUARTET CHAMPIONSHIP of the BARBERSHOP HARMONY SOCIETY, then in the October FAR WESTERN DISTRICT contest won FWD SENIORS QUARTET honors. In January 2015 HP traveled to New Orleans to compete in our first BHS INTERNATIONAL SENIORS QUARTET contest. To our elation we came in at 2nd place. In January 2016 we traveled to Reno and WON the Seniors INTERNATIONAL QUARTET CHAMPIONSHIP! We have roughly 150 years of combined Barbershop singing experience. We have a very entertaining combination of a wide variety of songs and funny jokes and stories. Our audiences usually reward us with a standing ovation at the end of our performances. Let us entertain YOUR audience and we'll PROVE it to you!
A cappella performance allows us to entertain on-stage before a microphone, or close-up and personal to our audience on the floor where they're sitting. We can stroll thru a venue and sing to tables of guests or do a full 30-45 minute stage show that will delight your audience!
