I hate writing bad reviews and never do it. However, I feel like I need to based on how our experience went. He was amazing before the wedding day. He was organized. We talked on two occasions before the day making sure we had timelines and the songs we needed were selected. We were so happy to have him up to the second the dancing started on our wedding day. His DJ style was terrible. Stopped the music randomly for dramatic effect and put effects into the music that sounded like static. We had multiple people come up to us asking where we found him and what was wrong with him. The reception barely lasted two hours and we were gone two hours before the planned exit. My bride has cried multiple times about it and said that it ruined our wedding day. Our wedding coordinator had to pull him away from the bar on multiple occasions. So, I was very surprised by the experience based on how many positive reviews he had. However, my bride felt like we needed to express our experience based on the results we had.

Tom at HiFi DJs did the music for our wedding reception back in March, and I must say I am glad he did. From the moment the process began, he was friendly and professional, and his attitude toward the process never changed. He was very conscious of my bride and my music choices, and seemed to take a real interest in us as a couple, listening to what we had to say in the conversations we had prior to the wedding so that he could tailor our music experience and give us the wedding WE wanted. It was also quite obvious that he was paying close attention to the ebb and flow of the party, and changed the music to better suit the group's enjoyment all while staying within the song/genre limitations that we put him under. We also found him very affordable. I would recommend to anyone.

Tom was the DJ for our wedding this past Sunday and he provided our guests with a great mix of music, kept us on our timeline and was a great with us and our guests. We received several compliments from our friends and family as well!
