If you came to see me perform, you would experience elegant and expressive cello music tailored to the atmosphere of your event—whether it’s a wedding, private party, corporate function, or concert. I offer a wide range of repertoire, from classical favorites to popular songs, and I always aim to create a beautiful and memorable musical experience.

If you hired me, you could count on a reliable, well-prepared, and professional musician who takes the time to understand your vision. I arrive early, dress appropriately for the occasion, and communicate clearly throughout the planning process. My goal is to make your event special, stress-free, and elevated by the power of live music.

Herlane Franciele is a passionate cellist with over a decade of performance and teaching experience. Originally from Brazil, she earned her undergraduate degree in music from the Federal University of Pernambuco, completed her Master’s in Cello Performance at the University of New Mexico, and is currently pursuing an Artist Certificate at the University of Houston.

Since 2012, Herlane has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral cellist for weddings, events, and concert stages. In Brazil, she was actively involved in social music projects such as Orquestra Criança Cidadã, which is rooted in the Suzuki method. After moving to the U.S., she continued building her career by performing with local ensembles and working closely with students of all ages.

Her approach to music blends technical precision with expressive depth. Whether on stage or in the studio, Herlane is known for her warmth, reliability, and commitment to creating meaningful musical experiences.

In addition to performing, she enjoys collaborating with composers, exploring diverse musical styles, and helping new students fall in love with the cello.

My setup is simple and flexible. For most performances, I only require:

One armless chair (preferably sturdy and comfortable)
Adequate lighting to read sheet music (natural or artificial)
A dry, shaded, or indoor area if the event is outdoors, to protect the cello from direct sun, rain, or extreme temperatures
For amplification, I usually perform acoustically, but for large venues or outdoor settings, a microphone or pickup system may be helpful. If amplification is needed, I can coordinate with your sound team or bring my own small amp upon request.

I arrive early to set up and ensure everything is in place before the event begins.
