She has a beautiful hand and dramatic detailing. Her shading is amazing!
The Rose that was Hennaed on my hand was so beautiful. A freehand design, it was the talk of so many people.
This is great work.

What to Expect
We will negotiate hours and number of artists and, if necessary, discuss which designs you will want available. A small retainer fee is usually requested for any event and varies depending on event.
I or my associate(s) will arrive 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time, depending on event type, to setup and get settled. Designs will be displayed and/or appropriate signage for the event. At start time I will begin offering henna to attendees/guests. 15 minutes before my scheduled end time I will check in, unless negotiated otherwise or other circumstances prevail, to see if you wish me to stay longer. I will take my last henna 5 minutes before end time. Payment is due, unless otherwise negotiated, at the end of the event. An invoice will be provided as needed.
My name is Veronica Lacquement and I've been an artist as long as I can remember. As a result I've been doodling on myself and a wide variety of mediums for that period of time. Only recently has henna, as another medium, come into my repertoire and since then it has become a passion. I can easily say that I love doing henna because it allows me to be creative, but it also brings joy to other around me. The two things make this a great job for someone with artistic talent.
This year, 2012, I have gone fully professional and started marketing myself. The last three years I've been doing this mostly for my own enjoyment, and for friends and a small fundraising event or two. With the urging of others I have put myself forward and found great success. I have compiled a great network of fellow artists in my area who I can work with as well as compiled hundreds of designs from various artists and sources that I can offer. All of my henna is natural and bought from nationwide respected distributors of henna supplies. You will not find any toxic chemicals in my henna. As a matter of fact, I make it a point to have a batch of hypoallergenic henna, for those who have allergies and sensitivities to citrus and/or essential oils. In addition I'm able to provide pre-made henna cones for party gift bags, or small DiY kits, both of which can be a great hit for guests.
My customer skills are top notch, as well, since I've previously worked in a wide variety of customer service and sales positions. I care about my customers and their enjoyment of what I provide, because otherwise what is the point? This is more about making money to me, it's about making awesome memories for the people who hire me.

Influences & Inspiration
My biggest influence for traditional henna has been Victoria Welch. The flow of her designs and the details she achieves are beautiful. The composition is amazing. However I like to branch out on my own with non-traditional designs and so have enjoyed creating things like griffons, unicorns, and so on. For this I draw from my background as an artist and my influence there is Wendy Pini.
