I take a lot of pride in making my own henna at home made with only a few natural yet high quality ingredients . When you book with me you can expect to always get your henna done with an all natural paste that is completely safe for your skin!
Self taught henna artist! I began my journey simply by copying a design from paper onto the skin and over the years I’m practiced stability and cleanliness in my work, which I take much pride in! I make my henna at home using natural ingredients, so not only will you have beautiful adornment, but it is with high quality henna as well.
I use natural henna, so it is important to know that you will not get an immediate dark stain. The initial stain upon henna removal will be a bright orange color and it will begin to oxidize from that point for 24-48 hours and result in a beautiful dark maroon color.
To achieve the best possible color for your henna you should do the following:
*Keep henna on for as long as you can ( 4-6 hours is best).
*Apply a lemon/sugar sealant to your DRIED henna to help keep the henna on and moist to ensure a better stain.
*Remove henna by scraping the paste off with a butter knife, card, or simply rub it off with your fingers. Apply an oil to moisturize your henna stain.
*Try to AVOID water for the first 24-48 hours after initial removal of henna. The stain begins oxidation once the henna is removed and if water touches the stain then it will slow down the oxidizing process. If you need to wash your hands/shower then avoid soap an use an oil, Vaseline, or vicks to create a barrier between your skin and the water to ensure your henna does not get wet!
If you follow these steps your henna will result in a beautiful dark and intense color!
