Henna By Eve

Eve Liebfried is an Internationally Certified Natural Henna Artist through ICNHA, and is originally from the New York/Vermont border. She moved to Cleveland in 2017.

Henna By Eve began as a hobby in Eve's university dorm room in upstate New York many years ago. Friends would let her practice on them, friends of friends and university groups learned of her passionate hobby and wanted to work with her, and this blossomed into a small business that has carried on for over 15 years! Eve is proud to have had the opportunity to meet so many people and to share her art for countless client memories and experiences.​

Eve enjoys creating all varieties of henna designs, and follows her motto of: "if I can draw it, I can henna it!"
She specializes in custom designs, creating a unique piece of art for every individual. Eve is also knowledgeable and experienced in a wide range of regional design styles such as: traditional Indian, Arabic, Indo-Arabic Fusion, Moroccan, and Gulf/Khaleeji.

Eve has a degree in Spanish language and linguistics, and international political science. She has a great interest in learning about and from different cultures and histories from around the world, and has an avid interest in languages. Eve is a girl-mom to a sweet baby girl, as well as a cat-mom to a few floofy fur babies. She greatly enjoys Korean food, music (she is an Atiny and Stay, if you know you know), and K-Dramas; as well as Indian food and Bollywood.

Eve genuinely enjoys interacting with clients, and no event is too big or too small! She is a popular artist for wedding mehendi/henna nights and bridal parties, as well as birthdays and celebratory gatherings.
Eve is regularly invited to participate in festivals, and has participated in large street festivals in various states, as well as a featured guest artist at colleges and universities (Walsh University, University of Akron, Kent University, Cleveland State University, Baldwin Wallace, SUNY Albany, Union College, St. Rose, Albany College of Pharmacy, Hudson Valley Community College), and regularly participated in Troy Night Out, a monthly arts and cultural event in the Antiques District of Troy, New York while still living in New York.

Eve has also taught hands on artistry masterclasses and informational classes on henna culture and its 4,000 year history for various groups and organizations including: college and university groups, at living history events, Girl Scout troops, libraries, and more.
