Hey, I'm Nadia & welcome to my henna world! I am a henna artist of over 18 years and was introduced to this beautiful art form through my father’s family. It was when I was five years old, visiting Egypt for my aunt’s wedding, that I received my first ever henna design. That magical experience ignited a lifelong love for this ancient art form! I did not pick up a henna cone (tool used to draw) until I was around ten years old, but I would take any opportunity to practice. Seriously! My three sisters love henna, so I was always drawing.
As I honed my skills, I fell in love with the history and cultural significance of henna. Hosting fundraisers during college, I used henna to support charitable causes, which inspired me to pursue henna art professionally. To refine my craft, I sought specialized training in bridal henna designs. Bridal henna became my forte, allowing me to create unique designs for brides-to-be, blending Gulf, African, and South Asian influences.
What matters most to me is the joy henna brings to others. Henna is not just an art form; it's a conduit for storytelling!
