We are a two-headed monster of musical fusion driven by a common hunger for stage lights and all types of sonic satisfaction.
One side is an ill tempered All-American rock giant constantly churning out one blistering masterpiece after another while always on the hunt for any listener striving for a fresh sound.
The other is a master of disguise, constantly shape shifting to adapt to any environment he is prevented with. Mimicking all the most familiar sounds that span across several decades and while still maintaining his unique combination of energy and originality.

Nearly seven years into their career, Hellbranch Run kicked off 2014 with the release of a brand new single. The new song, Dressed in Black, was released in January and was accompanied with a music video and release show in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio. The stand-alone single arrives exactly two years after the release of their critically acclaimed debut full-length, Us Against the World.
Since 2007, Hellbranch Run has built a strong reputation with their superior songwriting and intense live shows. They’ve shared the stage with national acts such as July for Kings (MCA), Taproot (Atlantic), The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Disciple, Ivoryline (Tooth & Nail), The Fold (Tooth & Nail), Tantric, Icon for Hire (Tooth & Nail), I Am the Avalanche (Drive-Thru), and even hip-hop legend Tone Loc among others. In 2009 the band was featured on the Toledo, Ohio television network, BCSN, during sports highlights. HBR also played a sold out show at The Basement in Columbus, Ohio that same year. In 2010 the band created a Columbus based music showcase called The Uprising. Since then, the reoccurring showcase has attracted national booking agencies, sponsorships, and radio backing. In 2011, with increasing momentum in their live show element, the band began recording their first studio album. During the recording process they leaked new songs on 99.7 The Blitz and made live on-air appearances and performances on the station as well. They also released a limited edition 4-song EP during their time in the studio.
The 2012 full-length debut album, fueled with the two lead singles "Never Again" and the title track "Us Against the World" received very positive feedback from fans, colleagues, and critics calling it “authentic, catchy, and real” and “an impressive blend on strong songwriting and music chops”. The album’s release show attracted more than 500 fans to the famous Newport Music Hall in Columbus. With the continuing press coverage through magazines, radio, and online articles, the band continued the momentum by playing a significant amount of shows across the region, and even made an acoustic run to Nashville, TN, in support of the album. They also began PR work with Gene Foley of N.A.R.A.S. (The Grammys) after being introduced through a scouting record label.
In February 2013, Hellbranch Run celebrated the 1-year anniversary of the album's release with a hometown show where they played the album front to back and also debuted six brand new songs that will be part of their sophomore full-length release. The band has since stated they already have ten songs completed for the next release and continue to rotate them into their live shows. One song titled ‘Dressed in Black’ was pulled forward, recorded, and released as a stand-alone single at the start of 2014. The new full-length album has a tentative release date of late 2014 and is yet to be tilted. Find Hellbranch Run in a city near you as they travel the Midwest in 2014
