Helia's Belly Dance

Helia dances different styles of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dances (Raks Sharki and Beledy) but her influences are mostly Egyptian and Lebanese.
The program of a set will be adjusted to your preferences and could include a very tasteful variety of dances, such as:
-a finger cymbals dance
-a graceful veil dance
-a fun participation dance involving the honored guest or the general audience
-a lively drum solo with lots of shimmies
-a spectacular sword balancing dance

Helia became a Belly Dance artist in 2001, after being an actress and drama teacher for 15 years. While her great musical sense magically gives visual life to the sound world, her theater background may explain her exceptional qualities of expression and communication. Helia's Master level knowledge and experience of Somatic Education enhances the efficiency of her teaching and the very embodied emotional strength of her performances.
The program will be adjusted to your preferences and could include a very tasteful variety of dances, such as:

The basic rates are:
1 set of 20 minutes: $150
2 sets of 15 minutes with a short brake in between: $195
2 sets with a change of costume (requires a pause of 30 min for the change): $250
These formats are the most often asked for, but it is possible to modify them to better accommodate your schedule. For a longer show, Helia can bring her best students to perform.
