Hi! I'm very excited you are considering me!

Once you've accepted my quote, I'll touch base with you to confirm details. Please keep me informed of any event changes.

I bring all my own supplies, including chairs, table, and any work related supplies. I prefer to work indoors, but am happy to work outdoors with a few conditions. Weather must be above 60 degrees or below 90 degrees, and a covered area to work is needed because my supplies are vulnerable to direct sun, debris, rain, and strong winds. If you do not have a covered area, I can bring a tent for an extra $50 fee, however, I will need help setting it up and taking it down.

Because I am a children's entertainer, I do not paint anything I find offensive or disrespectful, so please help me keep my work G rated.

I have a few fun dresses and outfits, so if you have a theme, please let me know and I will try to dress for the theme. I don't have any princess costumes, and am not a character- I just have fun clothes. So if you are having a Barbie theme, I'll come in bright pink; Hello Kitty, a Sanrio dress; jungle theme, safari outfit, etc.. During December, I'll usually wear Christmas holiday clothes, so if you prefer me not to wear holiday clothes, let me know!

I'm a former military brat so I grew up in Japan and learned to speak Japanese (easy when you spend 17 years there). I graduated from UT Austin with a BBA in marketing and a minor in Japanese. I was a stay at home mom for 31 years and raised two wonderful kids who have successfully come off my payroll upon graduation from Texas Tech and A&M (although my younger one is currently a vet student at A&M).

My son and I began volunteering for a big interactive haunt called Scare For a Cure in 2009. I became part of their makeup crew, and the head of makeup was a former face painter who urged me to explore face painting. I took a leap of faith and ended up loving it! It is so much more gratifying to make beautiful and cute designs than scary, ugly ones. :D

I love working with kids and love making them happy! When time allows, I will ask them what they want to be painted, what colors, expressions, and what type of details. Of course, I don't have that luxury on busy events, but I still make sure to make the person in my chair feel special!

When I started face painting, I was very fortunate to be surrounded by amazing artists who helped me become who I am today. Tony Maxironi, the Texas Clown, insisted that I learn balloons, so now I can do face painting-balloon combo parties! I also do combo parties with glitter tattoos and waterproof face painting!

I don't post much to social media, but I do work almost every weekend. I am good friends with many professional children entertainers so if you need a team, I can get one assembled for you! I have worked many corporate events in Austin (Google, Indeed, HEB, Favor, Umlauf S&GC, Trail of Lights, Cane's, Edward Jones...), all surrounding cities and their school events, neighborhood associations, home builders, and private parties.
