I am a singer/songwriter/speaker in Christian Music Ministry for almost 30 years. These days I am most known for my Christian Country music. However, I also sing Southern Gospel, Traditional, & even some Contemporary songs. I am a native Texan, serving a large territory of the state and traveling out of Texas on occasion. I have numerous music CDs available, of which many songs have or are currently charting on Nashville & National music charts. I am a multi-nominated and winning artist in several categories, but I prefer to point to Jesus rather than myself. I also enjoy speaking at ladies' events, retreats, etc., or combine my music with a message. I would love to visit with you!

January 6, 2023April 24th, 2022, Godley Methodist Church was blessed by the heavenly voice and testimony of Heather Thomas Van Deren. Heather shared her God given talent to a crowded church of young and old. You could feel the Holy Spirit, you could see God's Glory shining through Heather. Her testimony and songs moved all those present. Before it was all over, the congregation enthusiastically joined Heather in a Hymn. Heather's "It's all about Jesus" attitude and Love lifted all those present. "If the Good Lord's Willin" Heather's music can bless your church as well.

December 9, 2019Heather is not only a consummate professional, showing up early with all of her equipment at a Women's Club event, she is an endearing, honest and extremely talented gospel singer. She ministers with her music, her attitude and her demeanor without being pushy. People have been thanking me for days, for having her at our meeting as our entertainment. Heather Thomas Van Deren has loved music since she was a little girl. She took her first piano lesson at 7 years of age, and would sing & play for anyone who would listen. She has fond memories as a child of holding performances for her parents and their dinner guests, “whether they wanted to attend or not!” From music recitals, to singing or playing in talent contests, Heather loved, loved, loved all things music! She continued growing her musical talent throughout high school and again in her adult years through service in her church.
Although she was saved in her teens, it wasn’t until she was a young mother that God began calling her to step forward and sing for Him. Heather was with the popular ladies’ trio “Hearts to Him” for 10 years, and with the group “Rejoice” for 8 years prior. She has since stepped out in faith & is singing on her own. Heather has also been active in jail and prison ministry. Her first solo project entitled “My Heart Alone” was released in 2009. To date Heather has 5 solo CD projects, receiving numerous nominations and awards through the Country Christian industry. Heather's music is being played worldwide over radio. She also hosts the testimony series called "What Love Means" which is airing on both radio and TV. In addition, Heather speaks at ladies' retreats and loves to testify between songs when in concert or ministering at churches.
Heather resides in Millsap, TX on a farm where she & her husband raise Angus show cattle. After several life-changing events, she has a new outlook on life. “God is my Shelter, my Peace. Like Gideon, I want to possess fearlessness and readiness. It’s the least I can do for my Lord.”
I am currently singing with pre-recorded tracks, although I also have experience with live bands. If your organization does not have the sound equipment needed, I do have my own system that I am happy to set up at your location.
