What to expect
Keynote event:
Female business owners are celebrated for doing it all—until the cost shows up as chronic stress and exhaustion. In this energizing keynote, Heather Hanson, MA, LPCC, reframes stress as a physiological signal, not a personal failing. Drawing on 25+ years of clinical expertise, she reveals how the body stores stress, why traditional productivity advice falls short, and what neuroscience tells us about sustainable performance. Audiences will learn to read their own warning signs and leave with four body-based techniques to regulate their nervous systems and lead with clarity, as well as a free resource as they leave the event.
Workshop/Breakout Sessions:
Through her clinical work with female business owners, Heather understands that women in entrepreneurship often wear many hats and find themselves on the edge of chronic stress and burnout. In this interactive workshop, she teaches participants how stress is stored in the body, how to recognize early warning signs of dysregulation, and how to apply practical, body-based tools to restore calm, focus, and resilience. Participants will leave with four everyday techniques to regulate their nervous systems and sustain performance without overextension or depletion, as well as a free resource as they leave the event.
Webinar:
Running a business requires constant output—but sustainable success depends on knowing how to recover. In this focused webinar, Heather Hanson, MA, LPCC, guides participants through the science of stress recovery and nervous system regulation. Attendees will identify their personal stress patterns, practice three restorative techniques they can use between meetings or at their desks and build a simple daily plan to protect their energy without sacrificing momentum. Designed for interactive discussion and hands-on learning, this session gives female business owners practical tools to stay sharp, steady, and effective in the demands of entrepreneurial life.
About
Heather Hanson, MA, LPCC, is a licensed professional clinical counselor, adjunct instructor, coach and speaker with more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field. Her early work centered on trauma recovery for youth and adults, providing a strong clinical foundation in stress, trauma, and the body-brain connection.
Over the course of her practice, Heather began observing recurring patterns among her female business-owner clients: chronic burnout, physical and mental depletion, and the strain of managing multiple roles while prioritizing others' needs. These observations prompted a focused shift in her work toward stress regulation and resilience in entrepreneurial women.
Heather now speaks to audiences on the physiology of stress, helping participants identify where stress is held in the body and recognize early indicators of dysregulation, overwhelm, and burnout. Her presentations provide practical, body-based techniques to complete the stress cycle and rebuild resilience, with an emphasis on sustainable productivity and improved quality of life.
As a speaker, coach, and consultant, Heather has worked with female entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, university students, and organizational clients to deepen understanding of the nervous system and implement strategies that support long-term well-being.
For event organizers seeking a speaker who offers actionable tools for stress management and resilience, Heather Hanson delivers research-informed, practical programming designed for lasting impact.
