What to expect

I talk a little in between songs. It's all about having a good time. I take requests, and that usually makes for more entertainment than my well polished songs. I try not to take myself too seriously and keep a sense of humor. I don't act like I'm playing at an amphitheater when I'm in a coffee shop. I like to connect with the audience, so my songs are for them. I enjoy the back and forth as a way to constantly improve my entertainment skills, but I do actually play pretty well and sing (if I say so myself) exceptionally well. I may not take my piano and guitar too seriously, as my skills there prove more utilitarian, but my voice will definitely shine.

About

I'm a musical theater nerd turned singer songwriter. I play guitar and piano, and sing along. I have some songs of my own that will take you through an emotional journey: from funny, to uplifting, to a little sad. I love to play cover songs and take requests. When it comes down to it I play music because it makes for more happiness in the world.

Additional booking notes

I like small venues. I have an amp, stage mic, stand, clips, keyboard and stand with pedal... voice processor, with cables, and guitar and cables. I more often use keyboard lately, but I would need an electrical outlet and I'll bring a power strip, and all cords needed. I don't have a mixing board right now, but I directly plug in the mic to my processor and processor out to single amp.
