Featured Acts are roughly 3-6 minutes in length and performed on one apparatus. The guests in attendance will be focused on the act until the artist is done, much like watching a fireworks display. Featured acts tend to inspire those at the event to party even harder.

Ambient entertainment is similar to living wallpaper. There is a slow-moving quality to how the artist moves. The artist tends to move in a way that fits the music being played, as well as the style of the event.
Ambient sets are 8-10 minutes in length and are done 3-4 times over the course of your event.

It is my job to make my acts and Ambient entertainment fit within your event. This comes down to costuming, makeup, music choices, and how I move.

Heather Bentley is a multifaceted musician and performance artist who combines music and aerial arts to create original works. Heather is a classically trained musician who began piano lessons at the age of eight and clarinet at the age of ten. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Northwestern State University of Louisiana where she studied under Malena McLaren. Heather also studied with Keith Lemmons at the University of New Mexico, where she received a Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance. Throughout college, Heather accompanied students on piano, for solo and ensemble festivals, and for her private studio.
For six years, Heather had a successful career as a private clarinet instructor and was also the adjunct professor of clarinet at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for two years. Several years after having her youngest daughter, she found aerial arts. From the moment she touches an aerial hammock, she knew this was her future. Soon after, she found aerial fabric and has been training exclusively on aerial fabric and aerial hoop since 2016. She has three aerial fabric coaching certifications: Introduction to teaching Aerial Arts from Nimble Arts, Level 1 Teacher Certification from Aerial Physique, and Level 1 Aerial Fabric Teacher Training from Born To Fly. Heather completed Level 1 Born to Fly teacher certification in the Fall of 2020 under the guidance of Rebekah Leach and is currently coaching aerial fabric at Refuge Aerial and Performance in Baton Rouge and at Heatehr Bentley Aerial in Lafayette.
Heather has trained with Rachel Strickland, Jessica Jay, Rebekah Leach, Shannon McKenna, Brit Crumpton, Brittany Naegal, Jenn Bruyer, Jill Franklin, Amanda Hamburger, Madison Burke, Ukoya Mastin, and Erin Welch.
Heather lives in Lafayette, LA with her husband, two daughters, and three dogs. She enjoy travelling around the country and abroad as often as time allows, and is an avid baking of all things gluten free.
