Thank you for your interest in having me as a speaker! You will meet my optimistic, warm, and kind self. I speak from my heart, listen with love, and speak forth words that will ignite someone to move forward in their gifting and purpose in life. My words will uplift yet I also can bring soberness to a conversation that will lead to reflection. I think of myself as dynamic, caring, and passionate about everything I do!

I am passionate about empowering families to communicate effectively with each other and grow. As a training consultant, I speak to a wide range of audiences including families, children and youth, educators, bus drivers, administrators, and politicians. The most important part of speaking is that you learn to speak to every human heart. My authentic speaking engagements intentionally reach every person in the audience heart to heart. Words matter, and when I speak hearts connect. My passion is to connect and engage the audience through verbal responses or any form of engagement that will allow them to not only listen but use their voice as well.

Amanda Helman, Ph.D. is a national and international speaker in the field of education and leadership. She has 22 years of experience working with students with and without disabilities. Currently, she is an education consultant in the areas of academic interventions, behavior, inclusive practices, trauma, and works with teams to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Amanda has published peer-reviewed articles in the area of reading interventions and has presented at several national and international conferences about empowering students with ASD amongst other disabilities in the area of postsecondary education, student-led IEPs, inclusive practices, vocabulary development, and curriculum development. She also launched the An Apple A Day with Dr. Amanda YouTube channel and the An Apple A Day with Dr. Amanda podcast all about empowering people to share their story in the areas of education, mental health, and leadership.

I am flexible and will work with the acoustics, lighting, staging, and sound that is offered.
My preference would be to have the lighting, stage, and sound all available for the speaking engagement. A microphone would be a must, although a microphone where I can walk around and engage the audience is highly preferred.
