What to Expect
Clients have told me they can feel my positive energy through the phone (it may have been the Starbucks), but the key thing you can expect from me is to be treated fairly. Budgets vary widely across the event spectrum - but it's my job to guide those who have $1000 to spend the same way to those that have $1,000,000.00.
My career started in the non-profit and charitable sector. This means the budget will always be the starting point. Having worked in the industry as the client and as the vendor, means I have a full 360 viewpoint of an event. From the time guests enter, do the folks at registration have enough pens? Is the temperature too cold? Is the wifi working? Is there feedback on the mic? Is there a line a the bar? Is the bathroom clean? Are there enough garbage cans? No detail is too small as it can make or break the event.
I believe there are many elements of creativity. Writing, storytelling, and creating are just a few forms of expression that we use daily. With almost 15 years of extensive event industry experience and almost 5 years as a writer in digital media, I decided to combine all those under one umbrella to create Hayles Creative Elements.
An event planner by trade and at heart, my goal has been to bring my client’s visions to life. Event planning is like storytelling in 3D, with lights, food, décor – engaging all the senses.
