Overview

We are a high energy 10 piece rock and roll / soul and ska band with over 4 hours of original music and cover songs. The leader of the band Harry Katz is a multi-instrumentalist and singer with a a long list of credits in the performing arts, puppeteering, and film. His unique voice sets him apart from every other artist. The pistachios play everything from classic 50's rock and roll, 60's Motown, and 70's funk and soul to ska. Mixing in elements of punk, ska, and indie rock, the unique blend leads to a one of a kind experience. The band has played grand openings, corporate events, weddings, and birthday parties all around SoCal.

What to expect

We arrive at the gig a couple hours before show time and set up our full staging and sound system. We then get the party started and play our first set. We take a 20 minute break after every hour long set. We can play music on our sound system between sets if needed.

About

Los Angeles based Rock and Roll band, Harry Katz and the Pistachios combine Harry's Uniquely raspy voice with raw and powerful original music. Influenced by Soul, Big Band, Rhythm and Blues, and Garage Rock, the ten members that make up the Pistachios command every stage they are on. While the band plays a set of unrelenting uptempo numbers to shake a groove too, Harry's original lyrics dig up a darker and poetic inner world. With a huge catalog of cover songs to compliment their original music, they are only act doing exact what they are doing. A true one of a kind experience.

Additional booking notes
