I provide music for weddings, parties, and special events, including and memorials and funerals). Clients may choose from solo flute, flute with harp, or flute with strings (violin, viola, cello).

What to expect
Event planners and clients can expect quick response times, detailed communications, and high levels of organization and flexibility. I (and other musicians hired) arrive 30-60 minutes ahead of the event start time. For weddings, clients can expect Prelude, Processionals, Ceremony, Recessional and Postlude music, plus music for cocktail hour if desired. Music choices vary from classical to popular music, folk songs, and hymns.
About
I started playing the flute at age 9 and it has been a huge part of my life ever since! I have performed in Canada, Austria, Hungary, Romania, and the United Kingdom, as well as in over 20 states in the US, including Carnegie Hall.
Before becoming a freelance artist, I was a full-time symphony orchestra musician. I have held positions with the Alabama Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, Evansville (IN) Philharmonic, the Orlando Philharmonic and the Brevard (FL) Symphony, and have also performed with the Indianapolis, Nashville, and Southwest Florida Symphonies.
I have also served on the Music faculties of Samford University, University of Montevallo, University of Evansville (IN), and AL School of Fine Arts (Interim), and have presented classes at the University of AL and Auburn University as a guest artist. I have 3 Music degrees: a Bachelors in Performance from New England Conservatory of Music, a Masters in Performance from Florida State University, and a Masters in Music Education from UAB.
I look forward to providing music for your special event!
