Additional booking notes
Indoor venues preferred! The lever harp may be played outside in nice weather, the pedal harp is up to the discretion of the harpist depending on the weather for outdoor events. Lever and pedal harp pictures are labeled. Typically, a dry sunny day around 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit is suitable for outdoor harp performances.
The harpist reserves the right to cancel an outdoor event or request an indoor arrangement if rain or precipitation is anticipated. Rain or too much heat, cold, or humidity can ruin a wooden harp.
The harp requires a flat dry surface to sit on. Grass is acceptable, as long as the harpist is able to place a platform underneath.
No additional equipment needed unless amplification is required. If the venue offers amplification, the harpist recommends having it set up at the location for the harp.
Please reach out at least two months prior to the event. Currently, only weekend bookings are available with the possibility of a Friday evening. If there are special song requests, please send them at least 6 weeks prior to the event date. The harpist will work with you for song and genre selections.
