Harpist Emily Reader

Emily is an incredible musician, and harpist. They played all of the prelude music for our ceremony, and in our wedding ensemble. Their rep list is extensive, but I’m fully convinced that they can play anything thrown their way. The prelude harp music really set the tone for the day, and our guests raved about the song selections and musicality. Could not recommend Emily enough!

We hired Emily to play harp for our wedding ceremony March 2025. Let me start by saying that she has a diverse portfolio of music in different styles-it was easy to find pieces that fit our wishes. She also was willing to learn pieces that we specially requested. She showed up to the venue plenty early so that she could work with the coordinator and DJ on placement, timing, sound balance, and to warm up. The ceremony was beautiful-it was everything we wanted. She is an extraordinarily talented player. We were absolutely thrilled she did our wedding and would definitely hire her again for any special event.

Our foundation, Families Unite Against ALS had the absolute pleasure of having Emily Reader perform at our event, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment she began to play, the atmosphere was transformed—elegant, serene, and deeply moving. Her talent is undeniable; each note was delivered with precision and heartfelt expression.

Emily was also incredibly professional and easy to work with. She arrived early, was well-prepared, and tailored her setlist beautifully to suit the tone of our event. Whether playing classical pieces, contemporary selections, or romantic melodies, she did so with grace and poise.
