Overview
Update: I am currently based in Norfolk, VA but will be in Pensacola, FL starting August of 2021.
I provide harp for all special occasions, whether it is a wedding, reception, church service, solo recital, or other events. Having been a gig harpist for over ten years, I have a vast repertoire and can play all styles of music from jazz, classical, celtic, hymns, etc. I have held a position as Itinerant Musician at Colonial Williamsburg and regularly perform folk and early music in costume.

“Harp for Special Occasions” made our event the elegant, feminine Tea Party celebration that we were hoping for. The older ladies enjoyed the treat of hearing a unique instrument, while the younger ones were able to ask her questions between songs. She was wonderful.

Harp for Special Occasions (Alexandra) was just absolutely perfect for my October 2020 wedding! Everybody raved about her beautiful harp music and her presence just added that extra elegance to my outside venue. Alexandra was so very easy to work with and was very patient with me and all my wedding changes because of the COVID pandemic and how it affected my wedding plans. She gladly added my specific song choices to her repertoire to play at specific times during my ceremony. I HIGHLY recommend her for any venue where you want some added elegance and soft, beautiful music. I m so very happy to have had her as part of my wedding! We hired Alexandra just a couple of weeks before our daughter's mini wedding in Va Beach. She was so easy to communicate with from the very beginning and always responded so quickly. On the day of the wedding, her music just set the perfect tone! It was so beautiful and peaceful! And even when the wedding started earlier than any of us expected, she had no problem easily transitioning between songs! HIGHLY recommend!!!

I was in dire need for a Harpist for a memorial service at our funeral home. I contacted Alexandra and she immediately responded saying she would be honored to play at the service. We were asking for more contemporary music to be played, but she nailed it!!! She is such an amazingly talented young woman who I would highly recommend. Great job!!!
