March 18, 2026The best
Anita was beyond wonderful. She had great ideas and let the kids make their own henna! Not to mention the henna she drew for everyone was beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the whole experience! Five stars all the way!

February 21, 2026Mardi Gras Henna
Anita was an awesome addition to our Mardi Gras Event - her cool personality and attention to detail with each person she 'tattooed' was welcome, refreshing and made a great experience for our guests! I enjoyed her aura and would certainly utilize her services in the future!

August 11, 2025Pure Henna Joy!
Hands of Henna by Anita is absolutely amazing. She is so talented and could do almost anything people asked for. Her henna mixture came out a nice dark color and has lasted almost a full week so far. I loved her vibe and her aura. She even stayed a little later than her scheduled time so she could finish up the rest of the crowd. I swear I did not see her stop creating her artwork the entire time I was there. If you want beautiful henna from someone who truly cares, Anita is the one.

About
...from the beginning, I was an artist. I graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Drawing major, illustration minor. From portraits, murals, painting...then to henna. I read the book, The Red Tent, it peaked my interest in Henna. I had the pleasure of meeting the Author, to personally thank her for being the catalyst of my henna journey. This year I won the National Henna Contest! I have taught classes about the history of henna and how to use and create with it. Almost 8 years, I have brought my all natural henna cones with me in all my travels...I even had the pleasure of hennaing in India! I am a wife, mom, artist, traveler, dreamer and a lifetime committed henna artist.

Influences and inspiration
My influences are the best henna artists from all over the world! Natural and pure inspiration from the beautiful people I meet, their stories and experiences...I have to this day, have yet to meet a person I didn't find interesting and delightful, it's really true!
It has been an amazing life.
