August 18, 2025Kristen visits our childcare center every summer and every summer she brings a calm, light energy into the building. She is so kind, patient, and gentle with the children and it's magical watching our littles light up as soon as she starts drumming! Kristen's ability to interact with kiddos of every age (1-5 years old) and the way she allows the children to interact with and explore the instruments in their own way is why we keep having her come back! The children love the experience and our teachers even learn a new song or two from her to use in their classes. We highly recommend Hands & Hearts Drumming and we'll keep having her come back every year!

May 21, 2024We used Kristen with hand and heart drumming for a party with 200 kids ages 5-12 (we did shifts!) they were so patient, and engaging. I also used them recently for a ladies late night drumming event and everyone was thrilled. They are easy to work with, punctual, organized, friendly and calm. I will definitely use them again!

Getting to have hands-on experiences while learning really makes a huge difference in children's development and gaining confidence in their abilities. Can't wait to do this again next year!

Hands & Hearts Drumming, Ltd. was born out of Kristen's Love to bring children together through the Art and Heart of Drumming and Music. She facilitates childrens drum workshops, parties, and drumming activities for all ages. Kristen currently holds a Colorado Teaching License and in 2008 received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She then went on to graduate with a Masters of Arts degree from Regis University in 2011. Kristen has traveled extensively in her quest to teach and spark students creativity to explore the world around them. In 2008 she traveled to India where she lived and taught elementary students for five weeks. Her travels have also taken her to Nepal and British Columbia as well as many states throughout the U.S. In addition to Kristen's love of teaching, she is also a philanthropist and a Hurricane Katrina Animal Rescue Veteran. Kristen's love of teaching and music inspire her to inspire children to explore their creativity through drumming and music.
What to expect from a Hands & Hearts Drumming Interactive Drum Party:

3. Smiles and tapping fingers that will last for days- even after the drumming has stopped!
What do we provide for the Drum Party?
Hands & Hearts Drumming, Ltd. has 25+ Djembe drums of various sizes plus musical Shakers, Rattles, Tambourines and a variety of other drum circle instruments that can accomodate up to 25 children (& more upon request).
Our Universal Drum Party Package includes 50 minutes of drumming and a 10 minute guided introductory of facilitated drumming. After the guided introductory, children then follow Ms. Marciniak's lead with various drum rhythms and then go on to share different creative rhythms and beats individually and as a group. Children are also encouraged to experiment with and use the other instruments provided to accompany the drumming. Ms. Marciniak also incorporates fun drumming games along with different rhythms to create a fun and energetic experience for all those attending.
Different Customized Drum Party Packages are also available that include longer drumming times as well as adding a djembe gift drum and djembe gift drum favors (various size options available) that are wrapped in ribbon to remember the special occassion by.
