I can work with clients to choose the right songs for their event, whether it be a wedding, a funeral, a private or corporate party, a community event, or something else. I have a large repertoire, ranging from secular to sacred and from classical to contemporary. With some notice I can take requests (but I may need to have music in front of me).

I have spent many years studying with experts in bel canto, opera, and musical theatre, and I have used those techniques in countless solo and ensemble performances.

Recent performances include The Scout Guide Alexandria gala, the spring Great Falls Freedom Memorial service, and the Victorian Lyric Opera Company’s Strauss concert and The Bravado. In 2025, I earned second place in my classical category at the mid-Atlantic Regional NATS competition, and first place in my musical theatre category at the statewide VA NATS.

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to perform. Before I got serious about singing, I spent years studying and performing ballet, ballroom, swing, and many other forms of dance. I minored in theatre in college.

Besides singing and teaching voice and music, I enjoy homeschooling my kids, native plants gardening, reading, writing, and painting. I am also the owner of Sing Sweetly Studio.

My voice is high, sweet, and clear with a pleasant and well-controlled vibrato. I have a large range, from C3-G6, and my tessitura sits around A3-B5.

I can sing a limited selection a capella, I can work with an on-site accompanist, or for an extra fee I can provide an accompanist.

Depending on the size of the venue and the musical selections, I can sing with or without a microphone. If necessary, I can provide the microphone and speaker.
