My name is Haley and I am a professional mermaid in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
I have over 16 years of mermaid experience (10 years as a professional mermaid) a BA degree, and multiple certifications (PADI mermaid instructor, PADI scuba certified, freedive certified, CPR, and First aid certified). I have film quality silicone tails and strive to provide the most realistic and safest mermaid experience possible.
I’m available for all types of family friendly mermaid events both in water and on land! Meet and greets, birthday parties, educational story-times, PADI mermaid classes, and more!
I am the owner of Haley Mermaid LLC and both myself and my assistant are insured.

Haley Mermaid came for our daughter’s 3rd birthday party and it was truly special. She swam with the kids and answered all of their about life as a mermaid and about ocean safety. She was a complete joy and the children were absolutely enamored with her the entire time.
We had so many compliments from our guests that this was the best children’s party they had ever been to and what a creative, wonderful idea to have a real mermaid! This is definitely a birthday for the record books. Thank you, Haley!

What to expect
I strive to provide the most realistic and magical mermaid experience possible!
Haley mermaid has a variety of film quality silicone mermaid tails and tops for the most believable mermaid look possible.
Haley arrives already in mermaid form and ready to bring mermaid magic to your event! She will arrive with her own assistant so all you need to provide is the party!
Haley takes safety very seriously and even teaches mermaid tail safety online. If your little one wants to safely learn how to swim in their very own mermaid tail Haley is happy to help!
About
Haley has always loved mermaids and at the age of 11 she created her first mermaid tail for swimming. Haley has now been swimming as a mermaid for over 16 years!
Haley has trained hard over the years and has earned her PADI mermaid instructor certification, PADI scuba certification, NAUI freedive certification, and Emergency First Responder first aid, CPR, and AED certification. She was a certified lifeguard for 4 years, She has a BA in theatre and has taken improv lessons. Haley is the owner of Haley Mermaid LLC providing family friendly mermaid entertainment, teaching mermaid classes and courses, and making handmade mermaid art.
Haley moved to Myrtle Beach In 2019 and has just completed her 6th season as a mermaid performer at the Pirate’s Table Seafood Buffet in Surfside. She is the mermaid manager there. Haley also performs as a mermaid diver at Ripley’s aquarium.
Haley takes the safety of her mermaid team and the animals she swims with very seriously. She has top of the line equipment including movie quality silicone mermaid tails that are custom made from skin safe and aquarium safe silicone. She has performers and liability insurance for herself and her assistant.
Additional booking notes
Haley Mermaid typically uses a wheelchair to safely get from the car to the event space while in mermaid form. Wheelchair accessibility is important to make sure she can get to and from your party easily.
If you would like Haley to swim in your pool or tank please make sure the water is clean and at a comfortable temperature.
