Güero Brown

Güero Brown is a Seattle-based rock-funk band drawing influence from David Bowie, Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, ELO, Tom Petty, and more. Güero Brown’s approach to music emphasizes diversity, musicality, and positivity. Güero Brown’s second album, Bläu, was mixed by Trevor Spencer of WayOut Studio in Woodinville, WA, and mastered by Ed Brooks of Resonant Mastering in Seattle.

Güero Brown's technical needs by member:

Singer/guitarist: vocal mic and stand; DI box for acoustic guitar; mic for combo guitar amp; capacity to connect Shure wireless in-ear mic equipment.

Guitarist: mic for combo guitar amp; wedge monitor

Bassist: mic for bass amp or DI to PA

Saxophonist: vocal mic and stand; mic and stand for saxophone or clip-on sax hole mic; wedge monitor

Keyboard: vocal and stand; wedge monitor

Drummer: full drum set mic'ing as needed; wedge monitor

General plot description: drummer and bassist in the back; keyboardist on one side facing the crowd if possible, if not facing the opposite side of stage at a 90º angle, or perhaps a lesser angle; guitarist on opposite side of stage facing crowd; singer/guitarist and sax middle front.
