For Celebrations of Life and memorial services, every family is different. Some want a faith-based service. Others prefer something more personal and reflective. Together, we'll create a gathering that honors your loved one in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

I can help guide the flow of the service, including:

As an ordained minister, celebrant, broadcaster, and professional communicator with more than four decades of experience, Gary brings warmth, confidence, and a calm presence to every gathering he leads. His goal is simple: to help people feel comfortable, supported, and fully present during moments that matter most.

Many couples — and often their parents — recognize Gary from his years on iconic San Diego radio stations including KCBQ, B100, KPRI, and KSON, as well as his work on ABC 10News and CW6.

Over the years, Gary has learned that the most meaningful ceremonies are never really about scripts or formalities — they're about connection. Whether working with a couple planning their wedding day or a family honoring a loved one, he begins by listening. He takes time to understand the people involved, the stories being shared, and what they want the experience to feel like.

Long before becoming an officiant and celebrant, Gary spent years helping people celebrate life's milestones through his San Diego entertainment company, providing music and hosting for thousands of weddings, anniversaries, celebrations, and special events. Throughout his broadcasting career, he introduced legendary artists and entertainers including The Beach Boys, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, Robin Williams, and Adam Sandler at venues ranging from Jack Murphy Stadium to the San Diego Sports Arena.

Today, that experience naturally carries into the weddings, celebrations of life, memorial services, and special ceremonies he leads. His approach combines professionalism with warmth, sincerity, humor, and genuine care for the people standing in front of him.

Sound for Your Ceremony & Reception

Clear, comfortable sound helps everyone fully enjoy your ceremony — especially for outdoor and beach weddings, which are very popular throughout San Diego County.

Many venues and production teams already provide microphones for the ceremony. If not, I’ll help you choose the best option so your ceremony is easy for everyone to hear and enjoy.

Beach Weddings

Beach ceremonies often require portable sound equipment due to open space and ocean breeze.

✔ I offer professional sound systems designed specifically for beach weddings, ensuring your vows are heard clearly by all your guests.

DJ Sound & Setup

When providing DJ services, I arrive fully self-contained with all the professional sound and lighting needed for your celebration.

I provide:
• Professional sound system
• Wireless microphones (when needed)
• Dance floor lighting
• Complete DJ setup

All I require is standard power.

✔ One standard 15-amp household outlet works perfectly — no complicated setup or special hookups.

If your event is outdoors, simply confirm that power is available near the DJ area. If not, I’m happy to walk you through easy solutions so everything runs smoothly.
