I’m a hiphop artist based out of Charlotte, NC. I’d say my music is a more modern spin on old school styles of rap. My writing style is more lyrical and meant to work the mind and connect on multiple levels! As a former Division 1 athlete I enjoy interacting with and working the crowd! I love the craft and am open to doing all kinds of events!

Griot Noy has great energy and brought positive vibes to the event with his performance. His stage presence was amazing and the audience could not get enough of him when he was interacting with the crowd. His lyrics are thought provoking with an old-school feel. The musical selections he has on tap for each set matches the culture and and fits well with the purpose of each event. He's definitely a fan favorite and I look forward to working with him again.

What to expect
An audience can expect a high level of passion, energy and interaction when I perform! With my style of music, the interaction is more mental than physical, processing the layers and feeling the emotion behind what I deliver. This is definitely my passion and I work at it daily! Performing is the peak of creating for me because I get to feel how people interact with what I crafted in real time! It’ll be a fun experience for me and the crowd alike!
About
I started writing in college at SIUC in Illinois. I actually went out there from Charlotte out of high school to run division 1 track and field! As I fell in love with music I fell out of love with track, so those huge meets with thousands of people in the crowd started turning into small shows! As I spent less time perfecting my sport I spent more time perfecting my craft! Eventually making my way to North Carolina A&T in Greensboro to finish up school and track but eventually transitioning completely into music and mastering the art of performing and writing! At 23 years old I’m fully dedicated to my music journey and excited to see what it holds for me!
Additional booking notes
I will need a form of computer to play the beats as well as a microphone (or not) depending on the size of the venue and the size of the crowd. Outside of that I can make the rest work myself! If need be I can bring my own equipment and work it myself, but it would be a bit easier on me if I didn’t have to.

Set list
I don’t wanna say I have a specific go to set list although I do have some favorite songs to perform. But the content and order will all be decided per event. I can say that I have over 90 minutes worth of music already on all platforms to choose from… and even more that hasn’t been released yet and I don’t mind performing unreleased songs either if they fit the occasion! So there is over 2 hours of content to choose from, you’ll just have to trust me on picking what will fit your event best based on the information you provide me!
Influences and inspiration
My biggest musical influences include Lupe Fiasco, Lauryn Hill, Saba, Bilal, Benny The Butcher, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, Kanye West, Raz Fresco and plenty more artists as well!
