If you book with me as a wedding/event musician, please know that I have plenty of repertoire to choose from in various genres, but you're also welcome to choose up to 3 new songs for me to learn (5 for piano). It's up to you! I need to know your final music choices 4 weeks before the date of the event.

For watercolor guest portraits, the process is essentially the same.

1. First, we'll have a Zoom call to discuss your vision for your event and your chosen songs/vibe.
2. To reserve your date, you would then book through GigSalad and sign my emailed contract.
3. Payment is due 4 weeks before the date of the event (no deposits necessary).
4. I show up and provide the jams on the big day! All you have to do is enjoy the whole vision coming together.

If you come to a show where I'm performing as Greta Elise (the recording artist), you'll hear an interesting mix of Celtic folk fusion and Americana influences, all played on my nylon guitar.

My first instrument when I was 4 years old was a cardboard fruit snack box attached to a paint-stirring stick, quickly followed by a real violin a few weeks later. At the age of 6, I fell in love with the piano. 25 years and one music degree later (Bachelors of Music, 2016, Liberty University), I'm still learning and loving the gift of music! My guitar journey began in 2009 when my youth group's praise band needed a rhythm guitar, and I taught myself the basics with some helpful books and videos and took off from there. My typical guitar style is chill and acoustic with lots of fingerstyle melodies and arpeggiated harmonies.

Having grown up in Johnston County, I have a deep appreciation for our NC communities and the lovely people who inhabit them (that means you!). I enjoy living and working with clients right here in the greater Raleigh area.

For my digital piano, I will need an electrical outlet nearby (I provide my own extension cord).
For my guitar, I will need an electrical outlet (for my PA speakers), but I also have an outdoor-friendly battery-operated PA speaker if there is no outlet.
For violin, I need the electrical outlet for speakers to play my backing tracks if we're using those (all my backing tracks are played by me on piano, so it's like an asynchronous duet with my past self, haha).

If I am DJ-ing your reception, I'll bring my PA system, a wireless microphone, and my laptop with DJ software. All I need is an electrical outlet for all of that.

Either way, I cannot play in rain or other inclement weather, but you knew that :)
