Overview
We Bring the Fun! We're The Greene Brothers Band and We play Classic Rock, Rhythm and Blues, and Dance Music. We have 3 horns, Guitars, Bass, Drums and of course our Lead Girl Singer Lonnie. From Aretha Franklin to Chicago to Bruno Mars we got it going one. We have been performing around Texas for 15 years now. We play Private Parties, Fund Raisers, Weddings, and some of the better clubs in South Texas. Whether you like to dance or just enjoy great music we bring the fun! We had 125 residents for our community Halloween party Saturday. The dance floor was full most of the evening. They are a great dance band. Front Man Doc Greene has assemble an excellent 9-piece band, including a 4-piece brass section. Their music combined with great vocals made for a fun filled time. We hope to have them back.

I am in charge of putting events together for a master-planned community in Texas and I just had to book Greene Brothers Band! This group is so amazing! They will play anything from 70's rock to Todays Pop! They are a unique and fun group that loves to have a good time. I even try to go see them at my local hometown bar whenever I get the chance! You will not regret booking your event with them, ever!

What to expect
There is nothing more exciting than the sound and show of a real horn band. Sampled Keyboard Horns may fill in the gap, but they just don't add much to the excitement. So we have real horns. We dress to impress, and that depends on the venue. Some times is black slacks and the stylish Greene Brothers Tee Shirts, other times is black suits white shirts and ties. If you want us in Tuxes and formals let us know. We usually play 1.5 hour shows with a 30 minute break in between, unless its a fundraiser or political event in which case we play a couple tunes and then turn it over to the next speaker. We will customize it to your needs. We will add special tunes at your request with 30 days advance notice. We are always family friendly. We do have a generator so we can play in places that don't offer electricity. We have lights so we can play in the dark too. If you have the event we will bring the fun.
About
Doc Greene and Jim Baker founded this group in 2011 to do charitable events and retirement homes. They Still do that, but since then it has grown from a Duo to a 9 piece performance power house. Loneta Edison joined on Vocals in 2012 and along with the the core of the band has performed every show since. We are based in Houston Texas but we do travel to play events all over Texas and Louisiana. We are self contained with full PA system and Lighting as well as auxiliary power to play in those out of the way party events. We have performed in Austin at the state capital twice and plan to do it again soon. Let us Bring the Fun for your next event.
Additional booking notes
We are self contained, including a gas generator ( by advance notice only) so we can play just about anywhere. The drums need a flat and level 8 x 12 surface, and the area should be clean, (ie no doggy doo) We are pretty easy to work with and we can do a lot. You can save some money though if you offer sound and lights as some festivals do, in which case we cut our fee by $300

Chicago, Sam and Dave, Aretha Franklin, Tower of Power are among our musical influences. We believe the song is the key, We play the fun music from the real song writers and a little original stuff now and then.
Setup requirements
We need a 15 amp circuit and at least 12 feet wide and 8 foot deep stage. We are adaptable. The drums need at least 8x8 flat surface
