Overview
Green Island is an 8-piece instrumental Tropical-Jazz group focused on 1960's era Jamaican Ska-Jazz music; featuring Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keys, Percussion, and Horns. We explore the hypnotic dance rhythms of the Golden Age of Jamaica. In addition to our repertoire of Ska-Jazz, we also play instrumental Reggae, Latin styles, and other Island-themed music.
Green Island's style is the perfect companion to any event looking to have colorfully flavored music at a comfortable volume for both conversation and dancing. Green Island pairs well with outdoor, indoor, island, tiki, pool, and tropical-themed parties.
