Great American Street Organ is proud to present The Marino Persechini Barrel Piano, a unique piece of Boston history that can play and appear at your event. The 127 year old instrument includes a piano, a string of bells, a snare and bass drum and a cymbal. The instrument was played on the streets of Boston from 1900 until 1974.

In addition, Great American Street Organ also offers: general organ grinding (with a holiday musical focus), lectures on the history of organ grinding (as well as its connections to the Italian American Immigrant experience), and magic shows.

What to expect

When booking The Marino Persechini Barrel Piano allowances must be made for parking, as it requires a trailer connected to a pick up truck for transportation. Parking close to where the performances space is located is best.
