Gospel Artist Sheila Alexander of Sheila Alexander Ministries was born and raised in East St. Louis, Illinois, home of great singers such as the O’Neal Twins, and Anita Wilson. Sheila Alexander has been acknowledged as being a blessing to the Body of Christ and the Kingdom of God. She now resides in Kansas City, Missouri and attends the Blue Hills Church of Nazarene , under the guidance of Pastor Winston Lott. Sheila is a licensed Minister of Music and has held the role of Praise and Worship leader for the past 10 years.
The release of her newest single, “Never Give Up”, will show her passion and love for God and music. It will allow her to share with others what God has given to her, which is Hope, Peace, and Strength to carry on after so many trials that she has gone through. God is opening many doors and allowing Sheila to minister all over, delivering a message that brings healing and peace to the people. People are also learning about the goodness of Jesus, the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, through her powerful praise and worship ministry.
Even though her first CD was R&B, she never left her roots in gospel and eventually decided that god had bigger plans for her as a minister of music in the gospel. Sheila studied at Lincoln University of Jefferson City, Missouri, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Music Education. Sheila taught school for many years and was recognized as Teacher of The Year. In her free time, she mentors young ladies from all walks of life needing a positive influence.
