Goldie Candela is veteran in the local Burlesque scene. Performing in many entertainment avenues from Burlesque, Go Go-Dancing, Acting, Event flare and more. She works as part of the Worlds Most celebrated Burlesque Troupe, The Jigglewatts, and has performed all over the country sharing her Neo Classic Burlesque skills. Goldie Candela began her role in the burlesque scene in 2007, billed as Abbey Rose in one of Austin's most successful Vaudeville Cabaret Troupes, Carousel Cabaret. After leaving the Jiggleswatts a in 2014 Goldie struck out as a soloist and toured nationally. Missing the life in a troupe Goldie joined Fringe with Benefits Burlesque in 2019. You can catch her with her fellow mavens of mélange at Sagebrush ATX. Through her creativity and sultry stage presence, Goldie has established a reputation in the world of burlesque. Goldie can be seen on the festival circuit, sharing the stage with renowned Queens of Burlesque and winners of Miss Exotic World.
Goldie has also been awarded the very 1st Sparkly Devil Memorial Scholarship through the Burlesque Hall of Fame, in Las Vegas, NV. She has been taught by some of today's most notable Legends of Burlesque such as Gypsy Louise, Holiday O'Hara, Duke Ellington's protégé Miss Toni Elling as well as served as an escort and protégé to the Venus of Dance, Dee Milo.
