I am a professional rhythm and lead guitarist in the Atlanta metro. My greatest musical strength is my ability to play any style of music by ear and to spontaneously add unique flavor, quality and sound. Also, I can creatively compose for lyricists. I have played guitar in multiple church and worship settings. Furthermore, I have served as a session musician on some world renowned church projects as well as a few major, live recordings. Worship music is my favorite, yet I am highly versatile to offer whatever genre you seek. As a bonus I offer Baritone/2nd Tenor vocals as well as acoustic and bass guitar skills. My name is Glen Brown. I have played the guitar for more than 35 years. I grew up in Mississippi performing often on a weekly basis a local churches in my community. I was also a regular singing guitarist for the Spring and Fall pilgrimage tours of the historic antebellum homes in southern Mississippi. One of my more significant highlights occurred when I represented my city at the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans, LA, as singing guitarist.
I am college educated with a BS in Biology and a Masters in Divinity. Also, I am married to my college sweetheart of twenty years with whom I have three children. My wife and sixteen year old daughter are prolific song writers/lyricists. Furthermore, my daughter is a classically trained violinist who is also gifted to play any genre of music by ear. Together, my family and I are strong musical composers, performers and critics.
I own sound equipment that will accommodate most musical requests involving a guest count up to 500 people. Additionally, I can organize and orchestrate a full band with a team of vocals if I am given at least a 6 weeks notice. Most of my musical connections are professionals in their own rights; therefore, the greater the lead time, the better the likelihood of a booking.
My daughter, Camille, and I have mastered the beauty of the acoustic guitar and violin in concert. Thus, if you seek a more sophisticated, enriched, natural sound to soothe you and your guests at a formal affair, we have you covered in this regard as well.
