I am glam obsessed ! I love all things glam. Which is how I got into makeup.
I fell in love with makeup as a little girl playing in my Mom’s blushes and red lipsticks but my real passion began around 2015 when I wanted to created a smokey eye but had no idea how. So let the googling begin !! I went to the store bought all I needed and did a really GOOD JOB for my first time ever.
So of course I went on a selfie rampage!. A friend of a friend asked if she could book me to do her makeup. I was over joyed, but I had no clue what I was doing. Thanks to her for sparking that flame in me. After that initial booking, I googled, YouTube, and booked every class and Makeup tutorial I could find . Since I was completing my undergrad I was the girl who walked into class with a full glam, because i had to practice my skills there was no way I was going outside without a full face of makeup.
Naturally due to the exposer of a college campus I began to freelance while being a full time college student. Unfortunately due to my course load I was forced to slow down on my freelance work, and because of that I got wrapped up in “society standards” of getting a 9-5 after graduating college.
Although I had to take a step back for a couple of years while I finished my schooling, I made time for some special gigs here & there just for the love of the artistry.
In the past year (2020) I think having so much time to self reflect and really sit down and weigh out where I am the happiest really helped me realize that my passion is being an artist. Makeup is my artistry. I truly am at my best self when I am creating a look.
The top of the year came and I decided that I was going to focus on what makes me the happiest. I am so humbled to say that I have been the busiest ever, and I have been able to collaborate with some amazing beauty companies on weddings and special events. it’s truly been the best of times💖
