Marcos Cortes was born in Granada, Spain. From a family of gipsy flamenco artists, Marcos followed the steps of his worldwide-recognized family and became a singer, percussionist, guitar player and composer.

After working with famous personalities such as Alfredo Matheus as a composer and Domingo Ortega as a percussionist, Marcos has mastered his talent in flamenco and fusion taking the art of flamenco one step up.

He has traveled the world and performed in different places all over Europe and South America.
