We can provide a range of entertainment experiences with our electronic originals and covers/mashups of popular hits. With a female rapper and male singer, we will get your audience dancing - if that's what you are looking for - or we can provide a more intimate acoustic concert on keys and guitar. We bring a unique sound and an experience your guests won't have had before as a hip hop duo with strong ties to the LGBT community and a variety of styles from dance to club rap to folk/rock.

Girlboy is a San Diego-based hip hop/electronic/pop duo. Haley Hill and Matthew Blake joined forces in the summer of 2014, blending Hill's flair for rap verse with Blake's singer/songwriter approach. The result is an accessible, upbeat collection of hip hop and pop songs, ranging in influence from Macklemore to Sam Smith to The Lumineers. Girlboy has been entertaining bar and festival audiences for the past year while crafting their debut album, "Late Bloomers," available to stream or buy online in late October, 2015.

With prerecorded digital tracks and two performers, setup is a breeze - we only need two microphones. We are able to provide the sound system for smaller environments. For greater variety, we can incorporate acoustic covers and originals using keys and guitar. We have material to perform anywhere from a handful of songs to a full 90 minute concert.
